These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Campbell Credit Law Professional Corporation website (campbellcreditlaw.com) and our secure client portal (collectively, the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. General Information Only
Content on the public portion of the Site, including practice area pages, guides and frequently asked questions, is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not legal advice, does not create a solicitor-client relationship, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a lawyer familiar with your specific circumstances.
2. Client Portal Access
Access to the client portal is limited to individuals who have completed intake and been accepted as clients, or prospective clients invited to complete intake. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by: submitting false or misleading information; attempting to access another user's account or data; interfering with the operation or security of the Site; or using the Site or portal for any unlawful purpose.
4. Documents Generated Through the Portal
Correspondence and documents generated through the portal are prepared for use in connection with your specific retained matter. Draft documents that have not been reviewed, approved and signed by a licensed lawyer are not final legal correspondence and must not be relied upon or transmitted to third parties.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos and templates on the Site are the property of Campbell Credit Law Professional Corporation or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without prior written consent, other than for your personal, non-commercial use in connection with your own matter.
6. No Guarantee of Outcome
Nothing on the Site or in the portal constitutes a guarantee of any particular legal outcome, including any specific change to a credit score, removal of any tradeline, or the timing of any bureau, creditor or collection agency response.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Campbell Credit Law Professional Corporation is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Site or portal, other than liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law or under the terms of a written retainer agreement.
8. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party resources, including government and regulator websites, for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or availability of third-party sites.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
