Gather these

☐Government photo ID (driver's licence or passport) — copy, not original
☐Proof of current address dated in the last 90 days (utility bill or bank statement)
☐Your free Equifax report (equifax.ca)
☐Your free TransUnion report (transunion.ca)
☐Statements showing the correct balance, payments or status
☐Any letter or email from the lender admitting the error

Never send your full SIN. Black out all but the last 4 digits of account numbers.
