We apply federal legislation and the consumer reporting, collection agency and privacy legislation of the client's province or territory of residence where relevant, but our capacity to provide representation, appear before a tribunal, or otherwise act in a jurisdiction outside Ontario may be limited by law society and interjurisdictional practice rules. We will advise you if a matter, or any part of it, falls outside the scope of what we are permitted to undertake, and will refer you to appropriately licensed counsel where necessary.
